Challenges and IssuesWe Face

  • Dirty Fossil Fuels

We use Fossil Fuels to heat our homes, cook our foods, and drive our cars.

But when we use them they make the air DIRTY and unhealthy to breathe.

California is home to 8 of the top 10 air-polluted cities in the United States.

  • Water Pollution

Chemicals like pesticides and fertilizer used to grow food

Sewage water from urbanization and Industry.

Animal agriculture waste gets into our water table and drinking water.

  • Deforestation and Loss of Green Space

Farms, Ranches, and Urbanization lead to cutting down forests and destroys the Ecosystem.

Deforested Land in the Rainforest

60% cut down to Raise Cattle

30% cut down to grow food

10% are lost due to fires, logging and Urbanization

  • Inorganic, Mass Agriculture
